Today is a very special day for local reggae/dub rockers Roots of a Rebellion. It marks one year since they released their DIY debut record Heartifact, and, in honor of this monuments occasion (and after switching to a new publishing company) the are reissuing the record on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon etc. We are also happy to announce that they’ll be playing a very special installment of our weekly, Tuesday night Acme Feed & Seed showcase series, as the headliners of the reggae inspired, unofficial Sublime w/ Rome afterparty on Aug. 18. Look for a full previews of both those shows in the very near future, and, for now, jam out one of favorite tracks off the album, “Wise Words,” below!
