Ascend-CommunityDay

The latest addition to the Nashville skyline isn’t a skyscraper or building full of high end condos, it’s the newest venue for Music City.  Ascend Amphitheater officially kicks off it’s inaugural season this weekend, and there are a number of shows booked for the late summer and fall that we expect to be right in your wheelhouse.  If you are as excited about the new addition as most of us are, then you should head downtown on Sunday August 2nd from 1pm to 5pm to get a chance to walk around the grounds and check out the space for yourself for FREE.  There will be music and DJs, and metro parks will be offering a number of activities for the family friendly event.  You can even bring you pups to let them play in the dog park.  Read more about all of the planned events here, and head below for a special video invitation from Mayor Dean.
