Piano pop singer-songwriter and unofficial Nashville hero Ben Folds shared another new song this week from his upcoming album with New York City based sextet yMusic. “Phone In A Pool” combines the signature melodies and light-hearted lyrics that Folds is known for with the various strings of yMusic, creating whimsical chamber rock that is super catchy and easy to listen to. In the midst of saving Studio A from demolition, Folds has also been busy been working on the new album titled So There, out on Sept. 11 via New West Records, the day before he takes the stage as the headliner of Live on The Green on Sept. 12.
