The Origin Of The Dead Deads Revealed in Video for “Lemonade”

We love a good Seth Graves directed video. There’s always a couple WTF moments guaranteed. The music video for gothy alt-rock troupe The Dead Deads’ “Lemonade” delivers within the first minute, when black-metal aping aliens fire a fertility ray on a poor female Earthling. Things only intensify from there, folks.

“Lemonade” sports Glenn Danzig-style whoas and the abandon of Black Sails In The Sunset-era AFI. Don’t expect much brooding from The Dead Dead’s, though. Watch the darkly comical video below and catch their punky live show Sept. 25 at The Lipstick Lounge.
