2015 Music City Mayhem Nominees Announced; Voting Underway!

Following an announcement on last week’s episode of Lightning 100’s The 615, this year’s Music City Mayhem, where 32 artists selected by the station compete bracket style for a spot at this year’s epic Live on the Green (plus studio time, radio play, and more), is well underway! Pitting two bands against each other twice a day, voting began Friday, June 26, and is open to the public right here. Once the final four artists (plus, it appears, one wild card) have been selected, they’ll compete live on July 24, with the final winner voted on by the crowd in attendance. Below, preview all of the bands selected to compete; even the ones already out of the running (which we’ll continue to update daily) represent some of the best local music Nashville has to offer, and were chosen from hundreds of entries. And, of course, be sure to support this year’s winner at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, as they kick off Live on the Green’s closing weekend!
