BEN NICHOLS
Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Ben Nichols is the frontman for the Memphis alt-country band Lucero. Check out Nichols covering John Mooreland’s song “God’s Medicine,” recorded in August 2014 at Off Broadway in St. Louis.
RYAN CULWELL
Last month, we told you here that Ryan Culwell had announced a string of dates with Hayes Carll as well as a couple hometown shows, including a recent solo set at Music City Roots and this Basement East show. We also told you that he had taken SXSW by storm with Rolling Stone Country and NPR (and others) singing his praises. Check out Culwell performing “I Think I’ll Be Their God” at Music City Roots Live From The Factory on 6.03.2015.
SOMEBODY’S DARLING
We recently told you about Southern rock band Somebody’s Darling and then caught their May 5th show at The Basement. Check them out performing their original song “Cold Hands” recorded live at The Granada Theater in Dallas.
Ben Nichols, Ryan Culwell, and Somebody’s Darling will perform June 18 at Basement East. The show is 21+, begins at 8 pm (doors at 7:30), and tickets are available for $3 with RSVP or $15 without at the door.
