Seth Avett of the Avett Brothers and Jessica Lea Mayfield will be providing an intimate performance this evening at the James K. Polk Theater paying tribute to the late Elliott Smith. Formally performing and recording together for the first time as a duo, Avett and Mayfield are touring in support of their upcoming release aptly titled, Seth Avett and Jessica Lea Mayfield Sing Elliott Smith.

There are still plenty of seats available, and there’s not a bad seat in the house. If you like things unplugged and a little melancholy, this will shape up to be a special night. Tickets are $47.50, and the show starts at 8 PM. Check out the video below for some insight into what led up to both the tour and album. We’ll see you there!
