For several years running, Freakin’ Weekend has been one of our favorite musical moments of the year- a kickass way to close out the winter and welcome in the spring concert season, with tons of the best Nashville and national punk and garage rock bands on its bill. So, of course, we’re pleased to announce that the Nashville’s Dead-sponsored fest is back for a sixth installment this year! Freakin’ Weekend VI will take place March 12-14 at Exit/It and various other locations around town, and the initial lineup of artists has just been announced! Tickets will be available this Friday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m. CST as single night or weekend passes, and additional details are forthcoming, but, for now, you can expect:

  • JEFF THE BROTHERHOOD
  • DESTRUCTION UNIT
  • THOSE DARLINS
  • WOLF EYES
  • NATURAL CHILD
  • EX-CULT
  • PUJOL
  • KINTARO
  • G.G KING
  • THE PAPERHEAD
  • D. WATUSI
  • LA LUZ
  • MUSIC BAND
  • DIRTY FENCES
  • SERRATION PULSE
  • HEATERS
  • JAWWS

How’s that for a killer start? After the jump, check out a freakin’ playlist.
