It’s been a minute since we had a new music announcement from Nashville rockers Turbo Fruits, but we thought there might be something brewing with the #NOCONTROL tweets coming from the band for the past few days.  We’ve been hearing the rumblings from the inside about a new TF record (which has the touches of Patrick Carney of The Black Keys), but it was confirmed today when Billboard gave the announcement.  No Control (that is really hard to type when your name is No Country) is due out on April 20th, and you can stream the first single, “The Way I Want You” below.

Go ahead and mark your calendars for your next couple of chances to catch them around town to get a taste of the new album.  They’ll be joining forces with Wandering Eye at The Stone Fox for the Wiseacre Brewing Launch Party on January 30th, and then they’ll play host to Nashville Sunday Night at 3rd & Lindsley with Idle Bloom on February 15th.
