Do you think 2015 is going to be a big year for Parquet Courts (sometimes known as Parkay Quarts)?  It would be hard for them to top the two LP releases of 2014, but nothing should be put past these rising Brooklyn rockers.  We’ve been keeping you in the loop on their upcoming return to Nashville at Exit/In on February 5th, and just recently shared their Letterman appearance which had the soon to be retiring late night host proclaiming that he wanted to manage the band.

Today, we share the band’s video for “Pretty Machines” off of LP number 2, Content Nausea, from 2014.  The video essentially follows PC’s guitarist/vocalist Austin Brown through, what we assume is, a typical day in his life of listening to records, songwriting, drinking coffee, doing half-assed sit ups, and taking walks.  Sound good to you?  The track sure does.  Check out the video below, and, if you haven’t already, snag your tix for their February 5th gig at Exit/In!
