Pains Of Being Pure At Heart-620

We’ve been jabbering plenty about the upcoming Cannery Ballroom show on November 4th with The New Pornographers, but we’ve been mostly focused on the headliners.  Why not take moment to exemplify just how awesome this show is going to be by giving a shout out to “special guest”, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart.

Riding high off of their 2014 release Days Of Abandonment, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart are back in Nashville for the first time since their headlining gig at Exit/In last spring.  The fizzy guitar driven jangly dream pop is infectious, demanding repeat plays, and it’s no wonder that they have continued to see their stock rise on the indie buzz front.

Spend some time with the new video for “Kelly” from their latest release below to see what we are talking about, and, if you haven’t already, enter to win tickets to the show here.  If you aren’t the gambling type, head right here to secure your passage.

The New Pornographers and Pains Of Being Pure At Heart perform Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Cannery Ballroom. The show is 18+, begins at at 8 p.m. (doors at 7 p.m.), and tickets are available to purchase for $28 advance or $32 at the door.
