Indie music aficionados rejoice! We’ve found the next big, new(ish) underground band that you can scoop all your jaded music critic friends with. Meet Left & Right, a lo-fi, garage grunge, punk rock four-piece so badass, local label Infinity Cat jumped at the chance to release something with them. On Sept. 9, the cats at Infinity Cat will drop the band’s newest LP, Five Year Plan, as part of their limited-release cassette series. This means that there will only be 300 copies available, and right off the bat 50 will be snatched up by Infinity Cat Cassette Series (ICCS) subscribers, who all also get a super secret bonus surprise. We can hear all you music collectors out there salivating and licking your chops already!

Lucky for you, the wait doesn’t have to be that long. Left & Right are playing TONIGHT at FooBar as part of Palaver Thursday, which is only $5 at the door. There will also be $3 beer specials, so even the brokest of your broke-ass friends have no excuse. It’s 21+ and music will start around 9 p.m., but you’d better get there early to catch Left & Right, who will be opening up the night of live entertainment.  Local rock ’n’ rollers Chrome Pony, who we’ve written about before, will take the middle slot. Fellow Music City resident and surf metal masters Hurts to Laugh headline this amazing low dough show. Check out more from the newest memeber of the Infinity Cat family after the jump!
