Of course it’s only August, but we can go ahead and assure you that we have your Halloween plans locked down! After getting your outfit just right, drinking some adult beverage at a costume party, and/or bobbing for some apples (whatever your thing is), get your ass to Marathon Music Works for California-based, punk-infused new grass/folk/Americana troubadour trio Devil Makes Three. We are big fans of their classic acoustic sounds with a modern twist, and look forward to what they may add to their show for such a special night. If you simply can’t wait ’til October, you’re in luck, because they will also be playing at AmericanaFest right here in Music City this September. Check out the full lineup in this post.

Seattle indie rock quartet Cave Singers will be filling out the bill with awesome tunage, so make sure you get there early to get the most out of your funds. Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 8 for $17.50. Stay glued to the site for more information as the show approaches, and have a taste of the Devil Makes Three’s sound after the jump! Honestly, what band could be better on what basically what amounts to the Devil’s birthday?
