Spoon-620

Spoon just played here in Nashville at Marathon Music Works, Shaky Knees in Atlanta, and have an upcoming performace at Louisville’s Forecastle Festival later this summer.  Needless to say, we’ve had a blast with the Austin, TX based indie rock idols this summer, and, all of this attention from Spoon begged the question, when is the new album coming out? Sure enough, news recently trickled in about Spoon’s 8th full length They Want My Soul on new label Loma Vista.  You can have a listen to the first single “The Rent I Pay” below.

If you somehow still haven’t purchased your Forecastle tickets, give your address, so I can come smack you in the back of the head.
