Band Of Skulls

Procrastinators rejoice, there is still time to purchase tickets for the Band Of Skulls show May 6th at The Cannery Ballroom! Now if you are feeling lucky (or your money is just tight this week) then you might be in luck, because we stumbled across another pair of tickets to give away! If you have the means, we recommend you go ahead and buy tickets here while you still can, so you don’t miss your shot at catching them.

Surf, soul bi-coastal rockers SACCO will be opening up, so, however you score tickets, be sure to get there early (doors open at 7). We know it’s a Tuesday night, but the best shows aren’t always on the weekends, so suck it up! Read on after the jump to find out more about the tunage you’ll be enjoying or for some of you, that you’ll be missing out on.

BAND OF SKULLS

We knew English rockers Band Of Skulls were legit back in 2009, when we first heard their smash single, “I Know What I Am”, and they haven’t let up since. Currently touring in support of their monstrously epic new release Himalayan, the trio hope to melt everyone’s skulls in attendance with wonderful blues rock ’n’ roll tunes. Enjoy the video below for the album’s first single “Nightmares” and don’t forget to enter for you chance to win tickets.

SACCO

Adding their uniquely dark and psychedelic twist to surf rock, SACCO is a band on the rise from New York, but you’ll notice their sounds have a very west coast vibe. That’s because the trio are childhood friends who grew up in SoCal, which has heavily influenced their surf splashed, soulful, rock sounds. Their self titled debut album dropped earlier this month, and you can purchase it on iTunes here or just have a sample below.

ENTER TO WIN TICKETS

Must be 18+ to enter, per the show’s age requirements. A winner will be announced on Monday May 5th at noon, and will receive a pair of tickets to the show.
