File this under “so weird it’s awesome.” Andrew Lloyd Weber’s classic rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, has been reimagined as an epic arena tour, and will hit the road this summer for a run of North America. The cast includes a motley crew of Sex Pistols’ frontman Johnny Rotten (John Lydon), Incubus vocalist Brandon Boyd, former *NSYNC-er JC Chasez, Destiny Child’s Michelle Williams, and British newcomer Ben Forster. If that lineup alone is enough to pique your interest (it sure got our attention), you can catch the spectacle June 17 at Nashville’s own Bridgestone Arena. Tickets are on sale now, and range from $43.85-$154. Check out a preview after the jump!
