We’re guessing that Record Store Day was the highlight of last week for most music fans, but, along with warm weather, exclusive RSD releases, and special live performances, the week brought exciting show announcements (Paul McCartney, anyone?), huge new releases and record announcements, great non-Record Store Day shows, and a whole lot of Bonnaroo buzz!

In case you missed anything, here’s a recap of everything we covered last week on the site:

  • NEWS: Miley Cyrus’ Nashville performance was rescheduled to August.
  • NEWS: Boy and Bear announced a show at 3rd and Lindsley.
  • NEWS: Bonnaroo announced its 2014 comedy tent lineup!

  • RELEASE: Vacationer premiered a new song, “The Wild Life,” ahead of a show at 12th & Porter.
  • RELEASE: Swans debuted a new song, “Oxygen,” ahead of their show at the Exit/In!
  • RELEASE: The Black Keys dropped the title track from their upcoming eighth album, “Turn Blue.”
  • STREAM: The Apache Relay streamed their new self-titled album ahead of its release!
  • STREAM: Brooke Waggoner took on Nirvana’s “Polly” for The Cover Up.
  • VIDEO: Cardboard Kids debuted a video for their new single, “What’s the Catch.”
  • VIDEO: Tristen premiered her new music video for “Gold Star,” featuring tons of familiar faces.
  • CONTEST: We’re giving away tickets to Forecastle Festival!
