Pedal Stills

New album alert! Nashville’s The Pedal Stills just dropped a new LP, Static Queen, on March 22, and we’re glad to be streaming it in full below.  While its foundation is rock n’ roll, this record dips through some jammier grooves, pop tendencies, and a splash of americana to boot.  Static Queen is the type of record that has a little something for everyone.  On the vision for this album, The Pedal Stills’ Cory Kelley tells us, “We strive to break the ‘indie; mold and feel like we do well at not ‘cookie-cutting’ current flows.”  We couldn’t agree more upon our first few listens of the Sputnik Sound recording.

Get to know Static Queen below, and then head over to iTunes to grab your copy.  Also, make sure to mark your calendar for their set coming up this Thursday, March 27 at The Basement.  The show also features sets from The Vegabonds and Smooth Hound Smith, and it’ll only cost you $5.  That’s a hell of a deal!
