If you’ve heard of Lera Lynn, it’s probably because you’ve been exposed to her awesome “Wolf Like Me” cover. However, this talented songstress has a number of other tricks up her sleeve, and we’re sure her powerful voice and warm acoustic instrumentals will keep your interest throughout the night. Lynn will be joined by Ben Cameron at the High Watt tonight, so if you’re a fan of good music, go ahead and plan on being there. [JS]

ADAM FAUCETT w/ ALL THEM WITCHES, MEADOWNOISE, DIG DEEP LIGHT SHOW
@ 3rd and Lindsley | 9:30pm | $10 | All Ages
There’s something to be said about the power of the electric guitar, and few acts embrace this power as well as Adam Faucett. This awesome bluesy garage rock act comes to us from Arkansas, but you’ll find it blends in nicely with the scene here in Nashville. Opening for Faucett is one of our personal favorite acts, All Them Witches. Plus, you’ll get to the captivating sounds of Meadownoise and the intensely awesome audio-visual project Dig Deep Light Show. This all goes down at 3rd and Lindsley this Saturday. Be there! [JS]

SIMO
@ 3rd and Lindsley | 9:30pm | $10 | All Ages
We’ve gone on and on about SIMO. This blues rock powerhouse leaves nothing other than your jaw behind in their performances. They are virtuosic players with enough innate soul to overpower even the mightiest of amps. It truly amazes me that these guys aren’t a household name yet. [MH]
GREENSKY BLUEGRASS w/ WOOD & WIRE
@ Exit/In | 9:00pm | $15 | All Ages
Last summer, Greensky Bluegrass overwhelmed the middle of the day Forecastle Festival into a stompin’, swayin’ party of up-tempo pickin’ and pluckin’. Not that big of a fan of bluegrass? I wasn’t either until those guys smacked me up-side the head with the good times stick. Expect a party! [MH]
)
BOB WEIR AND RAT DOG
@ Ryman Auditorium| 8pm | SOLD OUT | All Ages
While hipsters around the world are rounded up like cattle in Texas this weekend, Nashville has apparently recruited the rolling hippie commune to replace them. It’s like we have our own little three day jam-band fest going on at our very own Ryman auditorium. Bob Weir & Rat Dog are certain to delve into a ton of your favorite Dead tunes. Good luck keep the dank smoke down ushers, and good luck getting in if you don’t have a ticket. [MH]

GREEN RIVER ORDINANCE w/ ELENOWEN AND EMILY HEARN
@ 3rd & Lindsley | 7pm | $10 | All Ages
A lot of times, you go to shows to dance, meet people, and maybe drink a bit. However, on occasion, you’ll attend an entirely different type of show. One that makes you want to stand there quietly and be utterly captivated by the performance at hand. Green River Ordinance puts on exactly this kind of show. We don’t mean to imply that this show won’t be fun (by all means, it’ll be a blast). However, don’t be surprised if you find your attention is firmly fixed on the band this Sunday at 3rd and Lindsley. [JS]
