Remember last week when we told you Wild Cub were going to have a HUGE 2014? Yeah, we weren’t just being hyperbolic. The Nashville indie rockers, whose debut album Youth made our Best Nashville Albums of 2013 list, despite the fact that it is set for wide/re-release Jan. 21 via Mom + Pop, have already hit two more major milestones, and it’s only January!

First off, the band are currently sitting at the top spot on popular SiriusXM station Alt Nation’s Alt-18 countdown, beating out artists like Arcade Fire, Lorde, and Young the Giant. And, even more excitingly, Wild Cub just announced that they will make their inaugural late night performance Jan. 21, on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, to coincide with their record release. A huge congratulations are in order, and we can’t think of a more deserving band! Look out 2014, Wild Cub’s coming for you!

You can catch the group March 2 at 3rd & Lindsley. Tickets are available here.
