We’re back on track over here at No Country and last week we covered some awesome shows, heard cool new releases, and much more. Although, with the holiday season upon us, everyone is getting busier. We have family to see, shopping to do, and lots of face-stuffing with all that holiday food. Don’t worry though. We got your back. If you missed anything last week, check out our recap below:

  • NEWS: Star Wars auditions to be held in Nashville!
  • NEWS: Daisyhead signed with No Sleep Records, and performed at The End with Balance and Composure.
  • NEWS: Kayne West’s tour still set for Nashville.
  • NEWS: Miley Cyrus announced a hometown show.
  • FEATURE: This Weekend in Nashville: We highlighted our picks for the best shows and events over the weekend.
  • REVIEW: We reviewed Body of Light’s new EP.
  • SHOW: Black Lips played the Exit/In with Tweens and JP5.
  • SHOW: The Oak Creek Band, The Electric Hears, Down Home, Scott Revey, and Angelica Rockne performed at The Basement.
  • SHOW: Houndmouth, Wheeler Brothers, and Scott Carney (of Wax Fang) played at the Mercy Lounge.
  • SHOW: Tycho w/ Beacon played at the Exit/In.
  • SHOW: Marathon Music Works  had an all out dance party with Fitz and the Tantrums, Capital Cities, and Beat Club.
  • SHOW: El El, Stephen Gordon and The Beech Benders played The 5 Spot.
  • SHOW: Cat Power played at Third & Lindsley and we gave away tickets!
  • SHOW: The Aquaducks performed at 12 & Porter and we gave away tickets!
  • SHOW: 3OH!3 played the Cannery Ballroom with The Summer Set, Wallpaper. and New Beat Fund.
  • SHOW: Mercy Lounge had a free “Psych Night” with a ton of great bands.
  • RELEASE: Milktooth are set to drop a new cover and we got a hint.
  • RELEASE: Mogwai released a new single and announced a spring show in Nashville!
  • STREAM: Listen to The Hawk in Paris’ album stream.
  • VIDEO: Watch JEFF the Brotherhood’s performance from their show at the Exit/In.
  • FUN: Hump Day Diversion: Sweet Guzheng O’Mine.
