Whether you know him from The Smiths, Modest Mouse, The Cribs, The The, The Healers, Electronic, or any one of the other of the other numerous projects Johnny Marr has been associated with, it’s indisputable that the famed guitarist is one of the most influential, eclectic, and legendary figures in modern rock music. Though his post-Smiths endeavors have been met with less attention than his former bandmate Morrissey’s, Marr has crafted an even more dynamic, progressive, and forward-thinking legacy in his own right. As we told you back in the summer, Johnny will be passing through Music City in just a few short weeks, Nov. 22 at Marathon Music Works, with Meredith Sheldon set to open. Up and comer Meredith Sheldon has previously toured with The Lemonheads, and was handpicked to open for Marr both across North America and abroad.
