Aquaducks

We’ve been talking a lot about The Aquaducks upcoming release, and we even premiered one of their tracks on Lightning 100 last Monday night.  It’s time to party, folks.  We are running a giveaway to let  you get into the release show at 12h & Porter this Thursday night, and it is definitely going to be a party!  Check below for a preview of all of the bands below, and find out how you can enter to win tickets and a copy of the new CD.

THE AQUADUCKS

The Aquaducks are our choice for Nashville’s best new party band.  We’ve jammed out with the likes of Space Capone, Kansas Bible Company, and Alanna Royale around town for the past few years. Lucky for us, and for you, we keep our ears to the ground to find new fun ass funk bands like The Aquaducks.  Their self-titled release was music to our ears when it hit our inbox, and the official release is just a few days away.  Now it is time we party to celebrate!

DYNAMO

Dyanamo is a bit of a newb to us, but we’re digging everything we are hearing out these guys.  You can check out their video for “Compton Strut” below to get an idea that there are some seriously talented jazziosos in Nashville.  A perfect compliment to The Aquaducks, this should get the joints lubed for the headliner on Thursday night.

ROOTS OF A REBELLION

Nashville reggae rockers, Roots Of A Rebellion, may at first seem an odd choice to open this show, but, upon further inspection, reggae employs a lot of horns. Horns seem to be the common denominator of this show, and that is something that we are down with on any night. You can check out the track “Peace Of Mind” below to get an idea of what we are talking about.

ENTER TO WIN TICKETS

Must be 18 to enter, per the show’s age requirements. Winners will be announced Wednesday 11/6 at Noon, and will receive a pair of tickets and a copy of the new CD release from The Aquaducks. For a bonus chance to win, RSVP to the event here, and share it on your Facebook wall. Enter below (you will be redirected to your e-mail, where you will need to hit send):
