Apparently, it is another week of giveaways over here. We are still running a contest for tickets to catch Josh Ritter & The Royal City Band, and now here is another contest to give away tickets to see three of our favorite local acts on the same bill! It’s an unbelievably packed weekend of events here in Music City, and this is one that you do not want to miss. El El, Jacob Jones, and Los Colognes are going to take over Exit/In on Friday night for a show that mixes all of the amazing genres that Nashville has to offer. What? Is that not enough for you? Fine… We also twisted the arm of El El to let us debut their soon to be released first single, “Kiss Kiss”!!!! You can see the contest details, check out the new El El track, and listen to some Jacob Jones and Los Colognes right after the jump. See you Friday!

Debuting a song for a band is exciting enough, but debuting the first song ever for a band is absolutely awesome! We’ve had the pleasure of seeing El El on a few occasions, including when they got things started for us during our Second Anniversary Party. If you haven’t had the opportunity to see them, it is highly infectious synth pop, with each song evolving into ever expanding bursts of international flair. You can definitely hear that in the first listen of the single, “Kiss Kiss” below. Enjoy, and understand why you need to get out to see El El this weekend.

Jacob Jones and Los Colognes both performed at that barnburner of a SXSW Send-Off Party that we helped throw back in March, and both of them killed it on The High Watt stage. Jones brings the rhythm and soul back to rock n’ roll, while Los Colognes are a tightly executed rock band that evokes some of the chillest bluesy retro rock in town. You can check out one of our favorite Jones tracks, “Play It Loud, Ray” below, and you can check out the most recent release from Los Colognes, Working Together after the contest details.

To enter to win a pair of tickets to Friday’s show at Exit/In:

* Email contests@nocountryfornewnashville with “El El Tickets” in the subject line.

* Provide us with your first and last name.

* RSVP via the official event page on Facebook for an extra chance to win! (Be sure to tell us that you did this in your email!)

That’s it! We’ll announce the winners on Thursday afternoon!
