This year’s Nashville Pride Festival marks the 25th anniversary of the celebration of the LGBTQI community in Music City and it’s safe to say, both the event and the community at large have come a long way in a quarter century!
The 2013 festival is set to take place June 15 at Riverfront Park from 11 am – 7 pm. Admission is just $5 (12 and under free) and there will be food, drinks, activities, and entertainment galore.
Musical acts include No Country favorites, Alanna Royale, as well as The Granny Whites, Big Bad Gina, Beverly McClellan, Linnea, and Shotgun Oakley (comprised of Steff Mahan, Cheley Tackett and Ashley McBryde). AND… helping to mark this festival milestone in supremely festive retro style, Guilty Pleasures will bring their mix of your favorite hits from the days when radio was still relevant.
You can find out more about Pride at the official site or their Facebook. You can also follow their Twitter and check out past events at the Youtube channel.
