Music City Mayhem is in full swing as local bands battle it out for a spot at Live On The Green – and now we know just when to mark our calendars for the annual summer concert series that takes place in front of the Courthouse on Public Square.
So plan to get on down to downtown each Thursday, August 8th through September 12th to enjoy the jams with thousands of your closest friends. Past acts have included a mix of both local and national acts such as Alabama Shakes, The Toadies, Here Come The Mummies, Kingston Springs, The Wallflowers, Apache Relay, Band of Horses, and more.
Thanks to Lightning 100, the fun is free (with VIP ticket options that include private restrooms, catering, comped refreshments, and more elbow room viewing area). There will be food vendors on hand, a children’s area, and a beer garden (the latter two most likely not directly adjacent to one another – but who knows!)
The full line-up announcement is still a ways away, but you can stay abreast of any developments via the official site, twitter, and/or facebook.
And now a little flashback with Kingston Springs from LOTG 2012…
The 2013 lineup for Live On The Green, Nashville’s free concert series held at Public Square Park in front of the Metro Courthouse, was announced today by Mayor Karl Dean and Executive Producer Lester Turner.
