SXSW is approaching fast, and our send off party is approaching even faster! While we’ve teamed up to send off the already chosen, we now have the opportunity to help send one more band. The stage is set, the shows are booked, but one Nashville band still needs your help to make it to SXSW.
The Lonely Biscuits, a band comprised of four Belmont University students, has been nominated to win the Chevrolet Sonic College Artist MTV Woodie Award. The award is determined through fan votes. The guys have been working hard creating a great promo video, and meme’s that you can’t help but laugh at. There is no limit to how many times you can vote, and every vote will count.

The Lonely Biscuits create phunky phresh sounds using a combination of feel good old school hip-hop rap, laced with vocals that will remind of a happy Ray Lamontange or a modern day G. Love. Only sophomores in college, they have worked their asses off to create these upcoming opportunities, and their optimism is evident. They most recently opened for one of our favorite local acts, Daniel Ellsworth & The Great Lakes, at Exit/In this past Saturday, and The Biscuits good vibes were the perfect complimentary match.
The Lonely Biscuits have the opportunity to open The Woodie Awards at SXSW, and what could be sweeter than adding another Nashville band to an already impressive SXSW roster? So, do your part, and place your vote here.
