Are you ready? East Nashville Underground Winter 2013 is set for next weekend, but the festivities kick off tonight with an 8 off 8 showcase at The High Watt that features some of ENU’s alumni artists. Here’s the lineup (not necessarily in order):

  • Kat Smo: They just released their new EP titled Streets of Detroit. You can buy the EP at their BandCamp here.  And you can listen to the tunes below:                                                                                                           [bandcamp album=4269305538  bgcol=FFFFFF linkcol=4285BB size=venti]
  • Grass Root Kids: They’re also playing the Road to Bonnaroo show at Mercy Lounge on February 25, 2013. Get there early and vote if you want them to win. Listen to their newest track “Boxes” below.                                   [bandcamp track=1949914727  bgcol=FFFFFF linkcol=4285BB size=venti]
  • The Future: Check out the track “Baby You’re Golden” below.  [soundcloud url=”http://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/76363832″ width=”100%” height=”166″ iframe=”true” /]
  • Ravello: If you haven’t checked out Ravello’s latest album Nostalgia, listen below:                                                                                                           [bandcamp album=603637235  bgcol=FFFFFF linkcol=4285BB size=venti]

  • Billy Swayze: He certainly rocked it at the last ENU. Check out what we had to say about his performance here. Check out the track “No Sweeter Place” below.                                                                                              [soundcloud url=”http://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/28353948″ params=”” width=” 100%” height=”166″ iframe=”true” /]
  • Blackfoot Gypsies: Matt definitely sweated BFG’s potential Led Zeppelin cover ability at last summer’s ENU. Read what he said here. Check out the album On The Loose below: [bandcamp album=3283642935  bgcol=FFFFFF linkcol=4285BB size=venti]
  • Bear Cub: Check out their album Good Morning, Every Morning below.                                                                                                            [bandcamp album=1001728299  bgcol=FFFFFF linkcol=4285BB size=venti]

This show will l be a grand ole time. And we can all brag about the great times we’ll have at ENU and how sober we’ll be afterwards. Music starts at 9 pm.
