It’s another pretty stellar lineup tonight for free at Live On The Green tonight at Public Square Park. You can relish in Americana week with The Dunwells, Delta Spirit is always a highlight, and it will be worth it to crowd watch while all the late-30’s cougars diss their kids to sing “6th Avenue Heartbreak” at the top of their lungs. Tell me that’s not a reason to get out and see some live music.
The Dunwells are an English folk rock band that have made serious waves in the UK since forming in 2009. Signed to the amazingly named Playing In Traffic Records, this band has had performances opening for Mumford and Sons, as well as sets at South By Southwest, Lollapalooza, & Austin City Limits this year. You can check out “I Could Be A King” below.

Delta Spirit is no stranger to Nashville. They’ve played quite a few sets over the past year like that free show, their tour with Waters early this year, & that surprise party over at The Basement earlier this month with Dawes. You can have a listen to “California” from their self-titled March 2012 release below.

As for The Wallflowers, I mean you remember them as well as I do, so I’m not even going to talk anymore about Dylan Jr’s reunited band of 90’s radio singles. I will tell you that they have a new record out, Glad All Over coming out October 2, 2012. You can listen to the first single “Reboot The Mission” below, and when you get tired of that, you can karaoke to “One Headlight” in your cubicle.
