Whoa… How did this little announcement sneak past me?  Veteran Indie all-stars Grizzly Bear will be at The Ryman on September 18th! Which it just also so happens will be a defacto album release party for their fourth full length due out nationwide that day.  The band just leaked the first single “Sleeping Ute” off that upcoming record over at their website, and it sounds fantastic.  I saw these guys in support of their Veckatimest record back in 2009 with a little known Here We Go Magic, and it was a definite highlight in my catalogue of shows.  I know not everyone is going to listen to me on this, and those that don’t will fail.  Don’t miss this show.

Tickets go on sale Friday at Noon (so unfair for all us Ro0-sters).  Thank goodness for that app.  I probably won’t remember to remind you in my mid Bonnaroo-haze on Friday, so go ahead and set a reminder on your phone right now.  While you are at it, you can check out “Sleeping Ute” below, and you can have a listen to Veckatimest over at Spotify.
