Born in Alabama, raised in Nashville buzz-band The Alabama Shakes recently signed to ATO Records, and look at them go now.  They have a fancy new website, and their new label announced today that their debut full length will be titled “Boys and Girls” and will release on April 9th/10th.  I’m assuming you’ll be in line at Grimey’s to pick this one up on Tuesday the 10th.

You can click over to their website to listen to “Hold On”, or you can check out the Bandcamp player that has been around for months now to hear that debut s/t EP which surely includes more tracks that will be on this debut LP.  Dig it.
