It’s a big week of music in Nashville, and it looks like the rains should clear out by the end of the week for Soundland.  Do you have your wristband yet?  What are you waiting for?  This is a showcase of about 100 performers, many of them local, that are all primed to take the leap into the mainstream consciousness.  For example, see headliners Foster The People.  You didn’t know who they were 6 months ago, and then they blew up when their song “Pumped Up Kicks” claimed the “song of the summer” title.  Who’s going to be next?  You just might find out before anyone else, and let’s face it sometimes that is what you want.

You can head over to the Soundland website, listen to most of the artists, and create a customized schedule.  Click here to see my schedule.  It was tough to create, because there is so much that I want to see…. and I know that things are going to change when I am there.

If you want a player with lots of Soundland artists to jam out to at work today, then you can listen to the one below that I created a while back (be careful, some of the hip hop is not safe for work).
