The Black Keys have finished recording a new album according to Spin Magazine. This will be the duo’s seventh full length, third album produced by Danger Mouse, and the first to be fully recorded in Auerbach’s new Nashville recording studio. Though temper your expectations for an Attack & Release/Brothers part III. Auerbach says the new album “…..doesn’t have that open soul feel to it. It’s way more driving and the tempos are really fast.”
Needless to say, this is exciting news, and gives us something to look forward to later this year. Click here to read the Spin Magazine article.
