Hanni El Khatib at The End on Saturday (7/2)

Don’t despair if you weren’t lucky enough to nail down U2 tickets in the 14 seconds that they were onsale.  Hanni El Khatib is playing at The End on Saturday night, and that show will surely cost you a lot less than your StubHub-ing alternative.  And, just think about it, you will be getting to know the next generation of music instead of singing a bunch of songs from dusty CDs that you have owned for a decade.  I wrote up a little diddy about Hanni El Khatib in our Bonnaroo preview series.  You have actually probably heard Hanni already and didn’t even know it.  His cover of Funkadelic’s “I Got A Thing” is the music in Nike’s Chosen commercials.  Check it out below.

Get out there and see some great live music.
