Chancellor Warhol – Bonnaroo Preview

A winner of the “Road to Bonnaroo” was Nashville’s own Chancellor Warhol.  His unique blending of hip hop with electo-pop is something that is immediately catchy.  It’s reminiscent of so much that we hear in mainstream music, but it is mixed up, original, and refreshing.  It will be really interesting to see what happens to Mr. Warhol (really, Mr. Boleyjack) as he continues to mature and perfect his recording and mixing.  But, for now, bravo, man.  Represent Nashville!

You can check him out at Bonnaroo’s On Tap Lounge on Friday (6/10) from 12:00 to 12:50 pm.

A new track “Hard To Explain” is below, and you can listen to the entire Japanese Lunchbox: A Love Story (via the bandcamp site) using the player below.  There is also a teaser for his “I’m On” video at the bottom.
