Civil Twilight – Bonnaroo Preview

What happens when you emulate the most popular music of the last 20 years?  Well, you probably end up with something like Civil Twilight.  You can hear the influences of Radiohead, U2, Muse, and (dare I say) Coldplay in this originally South African (now living in Nashville) trio’s approach to music.  It’s something that might help you lower the general bpm of your Bonnaroo experience.

You’ll have three opportunities to see them at this year’s Bonnaroo.  They are playing The On Tap Lounge on Thursday (6/9) from 10pm to 11 pm.  They are rocking the Solar Stage on Friday (6/10) from 8:15 to 9:00 pm.  Last call for them will be on Saturday (6/11) from 7:00 to 7:30 pm at the Sonic Stage.

You can read more about them at their Bonnaroo web page or their website.  Or, if you want to stay here for a bit, you can listen to a few tracks below.

Here is a three track sampler off of soundcloud that you can check out.
