On Monday, music fans across the globe were shocked by the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. Whether you were at the festival yourself or just a music fan, the effects of this terrible tragedy has hit everyone here in the Music City. To help begin the healing process, Nashville Gives Back: A Benefit Concert for Las Vegas will be held at Mercy Lounge on Oct. 9 to help raise money for victims of the shooting. All proceeds will go toward the Music City Cares Fund, which distributes 100% of funds directly to those directly affected by the attack. The benefit show will feature acoustic and stripped-down performances from local singer-songwriters Lilly Hiatt, Caroline Spence, Michaela Anne and Savannah Conley, as well as country groups Jericho Woods, Moonlight Social and alt-country troubadour Boo Ray. Tickets for this gathering for a good cause are on sale for $10 while they last. Grab yours now and click below to get a preview of Monday night’s incredible lineup.
