Breakout local grunge pop group Bully recently announced that their highly-anticipated sophomore LP and first release for Sub Pop is slated to drop on Oct. 20. Dubbed Losing, along with news of the album came a manic and ferocious lead single, “Feel the Same,” as well as a winter tour announcement, which includes three nights at Mercy Lounge, on Dec. 14 and 15, with Adia Victoria since announced to open the former and Daddy Issues the latter, as well as a just-added Dec. 16 show.

As Losing inches closer (and we eagerly count down the days), and following the release of vulnerable, anxious ode to life changes, “Running,” Bully have unveiled yet another new track: “Kills to Be Resistant.” Dealing with “the emotional conflict of unrequited love and the feeling of restraint and pushing your feelings aside out of respect for the situation,” the group’s latest continues the album’s trend of documenting the complexity of personal growth, poised to be some of frontwoman Alicia Bognanno’s most confessional and personal work to date.

Hear Bully’s new single below, which with its dynamic ferocity and analog nostalgia reminds us of some of our favorite tracks on their debut, pre-order Losing, and grab tickets to their first hometown shows in nearly two years here (12/14), here (12/15), and here (12/16 – on sale Sept. 29) while they last!
