Music City, if you haven’t already, get familiar with fuzzy garage pop outfit Big Surr. The five piece group is helmed by founder Helen Van, whose vocals remind us of a cross between Beast Coast and Dum Dum Girls. In addition to building a following for Big Surr, former members of the group have also gone on to find success with No Country favorites like Diarrhea Planet and Mitsuki. Their catchy numbers first caught our attention with their RAD FRNDS (Miss You Most EP) release in 2010, followed by an Infinity Cat release (Baked + Bruised 7-inch) in 2012. Now, we are happy to announce a new self-released LP, In Business, is set for mass consumption on Feb. 1o, but you can get hip to the first single, “Sometimes,” right now. Click on after the jump to sample the goods, and stay tuned for more information about a probable record release show!
