The Front Bottoms to Play Exit/In May 1

New Jersey indie rockers The Front Bottoms have been reviving emo since before it was cool, composing criminally-underrated tunes across five fantastic full-lengths (three with label backing), most recently 2015 effort Back on Top, the band’s first for Fueled By Ramen. The group’s earnest, energetic tunes are overshadowed only by their magnetic live show, and after playing Nashville frequently in their earlier days, The Front Bottoms have finally announced a May 1 outing at Exit/In, ending a three-year absence. If you know these guys, you know this will be one of the absolute best shows of the year, and if you don’t, you have plenty of time to get acquainted. Sweetening the deal, Brick + Mortar and Diet Cig have been tapped to open, and tickets are set to go on sale this Friday, Feb. 5 at 12 p.m. CST right here.
