Though local songstress Brooke Waggoner won’t officially release her fifth album, Sweven, until this Friday, Jan. 15, you can hear it full a little early right NOW thanks to Flood Magazine! A persistent local favorite, you may know Brooke for her work with Jack White (as a contributor pianist on both of his solo albums, plus a member of his all-girl backing back The Peacocks), or remember her appearance on our debut podcast in 2014. One of Nashville’s best and, perhaps, most underrated songwriters, Brooke’s solo material is every bit as noteworthy, and upon first listen, Sweven sounds like her best effort yet!
