We’ve had our eye on talented singer-songwriter Jake McMullen since he got to town, and first introduced you to him with the title track from his EP, Always, which dropped on Oct. 16 of this year. We’ve been so hot on his trail that we also invited him for a set at our Acme Feed & Seed showcase back in July, so we could get a chance to hear his songs come to life. The praise keeps building for this talented youngster as we saw in the video for the single “If I Go,” which tackled the common themes of love and loss and pining while trying to move on. McMullen just dropped a new video for the track, “I Don’t Wanna Wake Up,” which dips his Nashville tinged vocals into a lush dream pop musical stew.
