Spin Magazine reports that the Spike Jonze short film Scenes From The Suburbs, which chronicles Arcade Fire’s vision with grammy-winning, mega-hit The Suburbs, released today on Mubi.com. However, the short film is not available for online viewing in the U.S. or Canada, and you are only allowed to watch the trailer. The film will be included in the deluxe edition box set which is set to release on 2 August 2011 (and you can pre-order from Merge Records). From the trailer that is available in the U.S. and Canada on Mubi.com, you can see that it is an extended version of the The Suburbs video that has been all over the internet for months now.
