In an apparent attempt to promote their current tour of Europe, local grunge pop darlings Bully teamed up with tourmates (and site faves) FIDLAR this week to cover The Magnetic Fields’ “Absolutely Cuckoo,” the opening track from 1999 concept album 69 Love Songs. Trading in their usual penchant for loud, angsty, punk, the two groups actually take on a more subdued, mellow approach in the spirit of the original track. Watch the gloriously bizarre video for the cover below, catch Bully Jan. 22 in Nashville at The Basement East, and go see them on the road with FIDLAR if you happen to live in Europe!
