We’re counting down the days until Vinyl Thief return to Mercy Lounge this Saturday, Aug. 8 for hometown headliner, backed by Dinner and a Suit, breakout indie pop singer CAPPA, and late-addition opener TYSSON! Over the last few weeks, leading up to the event, we’ve told you all about Vinyl Thief’s new single, and even exclusively premiered CAPPA’s latest music video, for buzzworthy single “Killin’ It.” Today, we’re excited to bring you yet another premiere, this time pairing up the two site faves for one epic track!
The latest in what has been an impressive and diverse array of remixes since the spring release of CAPPA’s eponymous debut EP, Vinyl Thief have taken a stab at reworking her breakout single “Hush,” transforming the hypnotic, synthy tune into a driving, even more layered, dance ready banger. Both artists’ musical sensibilities and love for moody, retro sounds make for a perfect match, and this song has us extra pumped for Saturday’s show!
