Modest Mouse-620

Indie rockers Modest Mouse have announced a show at Nashville’s War Memorial Auditorium on October 13th!  We just had the chance to see the band at Forecastle in Louisville last weekend, where they had one of the most memorable (and packed) sets of the festival.  The band is currently touring in support of their 6th full length, Strangers To Ourselves, and marks the band’s first return to Nashville since their 2007 date at The Ryman.

Tickets go on sale Friday (July 24th) at 10am, and will range between $39 and $49.  There will be a venue only presale that runs tomorrow (june 23rd) from 10am to 10pm, and you can sign up for that newsletter at the bottom right hand corner of the War Memorial website.  Needless to say, don’t dilly dally on this, because tickets are not going to last long.  Check out the funky first hit, “Lampshades On Fire,” from Strangers To Ourselves below to get you in the mood while you wait to refresh your ticketing window on Friday!
