Tickets are just $12, an it’s an 18 + show so bring along the whole gang! Don’t be a wuss, help support indie music, even if your brain is still fried from fest freak outs.
TWIN PEAKS
Listing their influences as everything from new wave garage guitar guru Ty Segall, gritty garage punks Thee Oh See, to ’90s grunge masters Pixies, with a splash of everything in-between, Twin Peaks are a force to be reckoned with. Although they are probably too young to remember the short-lived David Lynch TV show of the same name, which is making a come back on Showtime in 2016, they are all heart with heavy lo-fi vibes and garage rock riffs. Touring in support of their second album, Wild Onion, they hope to take Nashville’s underground rock scene by storm, and leave us all with a wonderful indie rock taste in our mouths. Have a sample below, and go see them live tonight.
SECRET CLUB
A rock ’n’ roll power trio, Secret Club, claims the gutters of Nashville as their home on their FB Page. Relatively new on the scene, they are gearing up to release their debut LP Apocalypse Meow, but you can check out a video for the single “I Do What I Want,” right now, below. Get to the gig early to hear the next great local band to crawl out of the Nashville rock quagmire.
Twin Peaks, and Secret Club will perform tonight, June. 15, at The High Watt. The show is 18 +, begins at 9 p.m. (doors at 8 p.m.), and tickets are available for $12.
