The Black Cadillacs

Still looking for something to do tonight? If so, we’ve got the perfect show for you. One of our favorite rock acts, The Black Cadillacs, will be taking the stage of 3rd and Lindsley with local troubadours Sol Cat. This all ages show opens at 6 pm, though Sol Cat won’t begin until closer to 8. Still, there’s few better ways to spend a Friday night in Nashville than dinner and a show, and we can assure you this is one hell of show. Tickets are available for $10 via this link, and we’ve got some details on both bands after the jump to help readers get acquainted with the bands.

THE BLACK CADILLACS

If you’re a longtime reader of No Country, and we certainly hope you are, you no doubt know of our love for The Black Cadillacs. Though this group isn’t technically local (they’re based out of Knoxville), they play in Nashville all the time, and we’ve caught several of their performances in the past. The group is playing this show to support their new EP, which will see the light of day on February 24th. Chances are attendees will be treated to performances of several of the new tracks. Suffice it to say, the Black Cadillacs play rock as it should be: loud, energetic, and with just a touch of Southern charm. These guys are sure to kill at 3rd and Lindsley tonight, so be sure to get there early enough to grab a table. Trust us, you’re going to want to sit down after seeing these guys play a mind-blowing set.

SOL CAT

Unlike the Black Cadillacs, indie rockers Sol Cat are from Nashville. In fact, if you’re an active part of the music scene here, chances are you’re already familiar with these guys, as they’ve been blowing up over the last year. Their performances at Nashville Dancin’ and the Road to Bonnaroo have helped Sol Cat solidify their reputation as intelligent musicians capable of some damn good songs. These guys are the perfect opener for the Black Cadillacs, and you owe it to yourself to check out their show tonight!

The Black Cadillacs and Sol Cat will perform 2/13 at 3rd and Lindsley. The show is all ages, begins at at 8 pm (doors at 6 pm), and tickets are available for $10.
