You know that feeling: You’ve gotten over the hump of the week. You decide not to wait for the weekend to have some fun and that Thursday is the night to go out. You also have the strange desire to eat and drink like a real American while listening to some live music and you figure your boss won’t care too much if you show up to work a little late on Friday morning. Well, that’s why you quench your thirst and go to Thirsty Thursday at the Attic, which is directly above Piranhas on 2nd Ave downtown. And who can resist this healthy menu? Observe:
- 2 for 1s PBR, wells, and wines
- $3 Domestics and Jello Shots
- $4 Jolly Rancher Shots
- The biggest Margarita in town (I’m assuming it’s a 60 oz)
- The famous glazed doughnut cheeseburger (for all you health freaks)
Check out the Facebook event page here. This shindig is going on every Thursday. This is an 18 and up show. There’s a $3 cover. Yea, that’s right, $3! I know you can scrounge together 12 quarters from your car, if nothing else. And perhaps the bartender will like your charming personality….
This Thursday, the lineup is (not necessarily in this order)
- Rebecca Roubion [soundcloud url=”http://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/36302753″ iframe=”true” /]
- Nick Flora [bandcamp album=9371160 bgcol=FFFFFF linkcol=4285BB size=venti]
- John Lefler of Dashboard Confessional [soundcloud url=”http://api.soundcloud.com/playlists/2033460″ height=”200″ iframe=”true” /]
love it.
