As last week came to an end, Flock Of Dimes was announced as support for the upcoming Sylvan Esso show at Cannery Ballroom on April 1, 2015.  This will mark the first trip back to Nashville for Flock Of Dimes since they opened for Sharon Van Etten way back in the spring of 2012.  Since the last visit, Flock Of Dimes front lady Jenn Wasner returned to her other project, Wye Oak, to release her reenvisioned synth based take on their music for their fourth album, Shriek.  Needless to say that went over well, as we witnessed when we caught Wye Oak at Mercy Lounge back in May of this year, but this new run of dates with Sylvan Esso suggests that we might just be getting some new jams from Flock Of Dimes in the coming months as well.

If you haven’t already, jump on your tickets here, and check out the video for Flock Of Dimes’ “(This Is Why) I Can’t Wear White” below to get in the mood.
